Scrubworx needed an E-Commerce website that could integrate with its store inventory database. We were able to develop a mobile-friendly, user-friendly site that not only integrated with the store inventory but also offered an option for customers to learn more about their embroidery services through a uniform programs page.

Kip and King Marketing not only developed their website, but we also manage their Social Media platforms and provide digital customer service for both locations, Scrubworx and Lafayette Bargain Store.

About Scrubworx:

Lafayette Bargain Store was founded in 1965 by Elwood “Roscoe” Babineaux, who also opened Bevos on Johnston St in 1975.

At the age of 17, Roscoe’s sons began working with their father in the store. At that time, Lafayette Bargain Store was a women’s clothing store stocking dresses, women’s shirts, and accessories. It wasn’t until an order mix up many years ago that Lafayette Bargain Store began selling scrubs.

Roscoe Babineaux’s sons recall that they received scrubs by mistake from their supplier instead of jogging suits. The supplier let them keep the scrubs. So they put them on the floor for sale. The scrubs were such a success, that slowly over time, more and more of the store became scrubs until that was all they sold.

In 2009, they opened a second location, Scrubworx, on Kaliste Saloom Rd. and as they say, the rest is history.
